Semiotika Post-Strukturalis Dalam Desain Ilustrasi Lagu Timur The Adams Karya Ferdi Darmawan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of post-structuralist semiotics in the illustration design of the Eastern song The Addams by Ferdi Dermawan. Through a qualitative approach, the analysis is conducted on the visual elements that represent the ideas and concepts of the song. The research findings indicate that the use of symbols, colors, and visual composition in the illustration of this song represents the narrative complexity embedded in the song lyrics. Furthermore, this study also highlights the significant role of post-structuralist semiotics in understanding the hidden meanings behind the visual elements used. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the relationship between visual art and music in the context of post-structuralist semiotics.
