Abstract

The halal logo design is considered not to reflect the diversity of Indonesia and Islamic values. Halal writing has a forced impression because it is included in the word "halal". Through research on the new halal logo and its impact, this study deepens research on development strategies, aesthetic values of gunungan wayang and surjan in the new halal logo. Qualitative methods along with literature study or data collection techniques are used in this study with the discussion of halal logo development strategies in the digital era. Gunungan wayang and surjan have an important role in the logo to build a visual identity, the development strategy in the design describes and strengthens the visual representation. The development strategy in the halal logo involves a strong brand identity making it the main foundation in the halal logo development strategy, consistency and relevance in the digital era are very important in testing effectiveness to ensure that the halal logo remains consistent and effective.
