Pengembangan Struktur Organisasi Pada Himpunan Mahasiswa Manajemen Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Indonesia Jakarta
Abstract
This study aims to determine the development of organizational structure in the management student association at the Indonesian College of Economics Jakarta. The method used in this study was the interview method, observation by interviewing 71 informants. Informants are students who actively participate in student associations at the Indonesian College of Economics Jakarta. This research was carried out as a study to describe the development of organizational structure. This study identifies the development of organizational structure in the management student association at the Indonesian College of Economics Jakarta. The results obtained in this study are in designing an organizational structure for student activity units, consider factors such as unit goals, number of members, diversity of activities, effective communication, active involvement of members, and funding factors. The organizational structure needed in an organization that is open, participatory, and provides space for student ideas can increase engagement. Students can play a role by providing input, being active in discussion forums, being involved in leadership elections, and voicing needs and expectations. This active involvement strengthens the process of developing organizational structures. The author suggests that an organization should play an active role, contributing to the development of that organization.
