This issue presents six studies that address contemporary challenges in architecture, urban design, and the built environment through diverse theoretical and applied perspectives. The issue opens with an investigation of geometric typology in an organically developed commercial corridor, highlighting how building morphology shapes urban spatial character. This is followed by an analysis of the Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV) of the Banten Provincial Language Office building, demonstrating the role of building envelope performance in improving energy efficiency within tropical climates. Responding to metropolitan growth, another study examines the potential of vertical housing as a strategy to mitigate urban sprawl in Jakarta. Sustainability is further explored through research on hybrid bamboo construction, proposing an innovative low-carbon alternative to conventional concrete and steel for tropical architecture. The issue also addresses project management by assessing construction risks under pandemic conditions using an activity-level approach, providing practical insights for enhancing resilience in the construction sector. Finally, a study on bioclimatic design strategies for a public plaza in Pekanbaru emphasizes the importance of climate-responsive design in improving outdoor thermal comfort and urban livability. Collectively, these contributions reflect the journal's commitment to advancing architectural knowledge through interdisciplinary research that integrates sustainability, resilience, urban morphology, energy performance, and innovative design solutions to address contemporary environmental and societal challenges.
